My top moments from a sun and fun filled wedding day on the Norfolk coast!

1. The Location

The Dairy Barns is situated around 5 minutes drive away from the Norfolk coast. Does it get much better than a sunset stroll along the beach?! The tranquil and peaceful surroundings of the Dairy Barns make for a perfect, intimate and relaxed wedding day with loved ones.

2. The People

Sometimes you can just tell that a couple are really having the time of their lives and this was true for Laura and Mark. There was nothing forced, they were just enjoying every second of their wedding day together and it really showed! The laid back, just having a great time vibe was reciprocated amongst their family and friends (see moment no.4!) which made for a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable wedding day.

I also got to work alongside Craig Greenwood (photographer) which I always enjoy. I highy recommend booking videographers/photographers who work well together, it makes a HUGE difference to how your day runs and to the final product. I also recommend Craig so check out his work on this blog post and check out his website! www.craiggreenwoodphotography.co.uk

3. The Weather

I know weather isn't something you can control, you really have to make the best of whatever happens and if it comes to it, embrace the rain!

Saying that... For a wedding near the beach, this was perfect. A blue skied day which led to the most amazing golden hour on the beach. I got so carried away getting amazing shots of Laura and Mark that a wave took me by surprise and I spent the rest of the evening sockless.

4. The Party!

We have all the big moments throughout the day; the first kiss, the confetti, first dance, cake cut etc. which are obviously key moments in your films. But every film needs a good ending, it needs a climax that really emphasises the vibe of the day.

Seeing an empty dance floor after the first dance can be a bit deflating (maybe selfishly) because a good party is the ending I always want in my films. This wasn't one of those deflating momenets, in fact this was probably one of the best dance floors I've filmed. Everyone was having a great time, Laura was up on Mark's shoulder, there were a few shirts being swung around heads.. The exact madness that should close any wedding film!
